Emily Travels: Shorts and Sweet (Annapolis OOTD)

Has anyone here been to Annapolis before? I think this is such an underrated town! My friends Lydia, Karli, and I had the best time exploring there last weekend! Annapolis has tons of places to shop, eat lunch at the dock, ride boats, and people watch. At the end of the day I did not want to leave and the sunset literally made the scenery look like a painting (last pic). Here are the details of the outfit I wore:

Emily Travels: NYC Finally (OOTD)

Hello everyone! I am so excited to write this post for you today because it's about my first trip to NYC! I don't know why it took me 22 years to get there but I literally could not stop smiling and freaking out on the way to the city. I went with three friends and had a blast exploring Times Square, Central Park, and Chelsea. For my outfit, I decided to go for something light since it was so hot in NYC. I was also in the "go big or go home" mindset so wanted to stand out with a lime eyelet skirt! I also wore flats since I knew I was bound to do a lot of walking in the big city. Here are the details:

Top: H&M (similar one below) | Skirt: Loft (similar one below) | Necklace: Baublebar (similar one below) | Shoes: Report | Purse: Coach | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Had a little picnic in Central Park! :)

Here are some more pics from the city!

Emily Travels: Wildwoods Beach Day (OOTD)

Hello everyone! Earlier this month, my friend and I had a crazy weekend going to Cherry Hill, NJ (outfit post here), Philadephia, PA (outfit post here) and Wildwoods Beach, NJ! I love Wildwoods and seriously wish Florida beaches were like this! There was such a long boardwalk which was perfect for biking in the morning and walking along to shop and eat. There was also an amusement part with a ferris wheel, which we rode, and other attractions. The beach was relaxing as well and we just had a great weekend! Here are the details on my outfit (click on them to see where they're from!):

Top: LOFT (similar item linked below)| Shorts: H&M | Sneakers: Vans | Hat: D&Y | Canvas Bag: Forever21 (similar item linked below) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
I'm obsessed with my neon Vans and get compliments on them all the time!

Emily Travels: Stripes on Stripes in Philly (OOTD)

I can't express on a blog post how much I love Philadelphia. This weekend I went into the city for the third time with my friend Karli (shout out to her for taking these pics for me!). We had a fabulous time shopping, eating, and exploring. This city is filled with beauty and history and I love going here!

I knew we were going to do a lot of walking so I wore comfy shoes. Since we were shopping & I don't like holding multiple bags, I brought my canvas bookbag. I know it's unusual that I paired the bag with a similar striped shirt but I think it made a cute duo! Here are the details on my outfti:

Emily Travels: Paris!

Hello everyone! I've been feeling a bit nostalgic this week about traveling so I thought I would share pictures with you from my trip to Paris two a half years ago! I went with a lot of friends because we were studying abroad that semester in Metz, France.

Let me just start by saying that Paris is absolutely stunning. I had been wanting to go for years and was insanely excited pretty much my entire time there. Lol There are so many sites to see, great spots to people watch, and so many delicious treats to try. My personal favorites spots to tour were the:
  • Eiffel Tower- (left pic) This of course this has to be one of my favorites. It is the icon of Paris and the view from the top is insane. My friends and I walked the entire way!
  • Champ de Mars- Had the most surreal moment here of sitting down and eating lunch while looking at the Eiffel Tower.
  • The Louvre- Basically contains everything you can think of in your grade school history books
  • Tuileries Garden- Great place to get some ice cream after spending hours in The Louvre! I got pistachio and loved it!
  • Musee d'Orsay- This museum has some of my all time favorite paintings in it: Renoir's Bal du moulin de la Galette and Monet's Poppies at Argenteuil
  • Champs-Elysees- You must go shopping here (or at least window shopping)!
  • Arc de Triomphe- (middle pic) This monument blows me away. It is so majestic and so beautiful. I also find it funny that it's in the middle of a busy intersection so people are literally just in the middle of the street to take a picture.

Emily Travels: Girona and Barcelona OOTD

For my last day in Spain, I went for a very casual outfit. I wore a black scoop neck shirt from H&M, white and pink flowered shorts from Forever21, and sandals from Belk. For accessories I put on Gucci sunglasses, a Michael Kors watch, a silver bracelet, and an Anne Klein purse.

Also, if my last two posts about Spain haven't convinced you, it is a beautiful place to go see! Definitely recommend it!

Emily Travels: Barcelona OOTD!

Hey! I am going to start a series called Emily travels showing you my favorite outfits from my last Europe trip! To begin my trip, I went to Barcelona, a city I had never been to before. It was overall a beautiful place and I loved that it had a beach, busy downtown, and historic sites as well. The city was very walkable but we still had to take a bus to some places since the sites are far apart.

Emily Travels: Exploring Philadelphia OOTD!

Hey everyone! I realized that I forgot to post about my outfit that I wore to Philadelphia back in mid-October! I went for a conference but explored the city on my day off! I loveddd Philly and could really see myself living there one day! There was so much history and things to see!

For my outfit, I wore a loose blue collared shirt tucked into H&M black jeans & black flats! I carried a Forever21 canvas bag & wore red lipstick from my Rimmel post! See the photo captions to read about parts of my day!

To start off the day, I took a tour bus to see the city sites! The skyscraper photo was taken from the bus! The bottom left photo is me in front of Independence Hall!
