OOTD: Party Night

Hey girlies! I'm really excited to share this outfit with you today! If I'm ever planning to go out to a club in the city, my go to is a little black dress. You just can't go wrong with it. The particular one I'm wearing in the photos is the Low Plunge Black Fit and Flare Dress from the store "Clubbing Girl". It has a plunging neckline and I love the design and material! It is currently on sale for $29.99! I paired it with a gold studded purse and nude heels.
I decided to go light on jewelry but still wanted to sport these 360 fake pearl earrings which also came in a set with rhinestone earrings (in my second piercing). They are so unique and I'm sure you will get compliments on them! Right now they are on sale for only $5! I'm definitely going to wear these on a daily basis.

Hope you like this 1960's vibe I tried to add to the photos in this post! >

If you're looking for affordable jewelry & clothes for a night out! Check out the Clubbing Girl website! They have free shipping, all jewelry is currently $5, & their dresses are currently on sale! You can't really top that. Hope you get a chance to party this weekend!
Xoxo,
Emily
Thank you to Clubbing Girl for providing me with the dress and earrings in this post to try out! All opinions are 100% my own.

Emily Travels: Shorts and Sweet (Annapolis OOTD)

Has anyone here been to Annapolis before? I think this is such an underrated town! My friends Lydia, Karli, and I had the best time exploring there last weekend! Annapolis has tons of places to shop, eat lunch at the dock, ride boats, and people watch. At the end of the day I did not want to leave and the sunset literally made the scenery look like a painting (last pic). Here are the details of the outfit I wore:

Emily Travels: NYC Finally (OOTD)

Hello everyone! I am so excited to write this post for you today because it's about my first trip to NYC! I don't know why it took me 22 years to get there but I literally could not stop smiling and freaking out on the way to the city. I went with three friends and had a blast exploring Times Square, Central Park, and Chelsea. For my outfit, I decided to go for something light since it was so hot in NYC. I was also in the "go big or go home" mindset so wanted to stand out with a lime eyelet skirt! I also wore flats since I knew I was bound to do a lot of walking in the big city. Here are the details:

Top: H&M (similar one below) | Skirt: Loft (similar one below) | Necklace: Baublebar (similar one below) | Shoes: Report | Purse: Coach | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Had a little picnic in Central Park! :)

Here are some more pics from the city!

Emily Travels: Wildwoods Beach Day (OOTD)

Hello everyone! Earlier this month, my friend and I had a crazy weekend going to Cherry Hill, NJ (outfit post here), Philadephia, PA (outfit post here) and Wildwoods Beach, NJ! I love Wildwoods and seriously wish Florida beaches were like this! There was such a long boardwalk which was perfect for biking in the morning and walking along to shop and eat. There was also an amusement part with a ferris wheel, which we rode, and other attractions. The beach was relaxing as well and we just had a great weekend! Here are the details on my outfit (click on them to see where they're from!):

Top: LOFT (similar item linked below)| Shorts: H&M | Sneakers: Vans | Hat: D&Y | Canvas Bag: Forever21 (similar item linked below) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
I'm obsessed with my neon Vans and get compliments on them all the time!

Emily Travels: Stripes on Stripes in Philly (OOTD)

I can't express on a blog post how much I love Philadelphia. This weekend I went into the city for the third time with my friend Karli (shout out to her for taking these pics for me!). We had a fabulous time shopping, eating, and exploring. This city is filled with beauty and history and I love going here!

I knew we were going to do a lot of walking so I wore comfy shoes. Since we were shopping & I don't like holding multiple bags, I brought my canvas bookbag. I know it's unusual that I paired the bag with a similar striped shirt but I think it made a cute duo! Here are the details on my outfti:

OOTD: Summer Earth Tones

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share an outfit with you that I wore when my friend & I went to a more hipster part of ATL: Little Five Points. With it being a different vibe, I didn't want to wear my girly pinks and instead decided to go for more laid back earth tones! Here's what I'm wearing:
Top: Loft* | Shorts: H&M | Sunglasses: Ray Bans | Shoes: American Eagle | Necklace: Forever21 | Purse: Steve Madden

*Have you girls ever bought clothes from Loft? Shirts from there are insanely comfortable!! I can't wait to get more from there!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and that it gave you some inspiration! Happy Summer!

OOTD: Summer Business Formal Color Blocking

Who has a conference or interview coming up? Well if you guys are anything like me, I get nervous about sweating in a suit during the summer season. The way I combat this is by wearing dresses rather than a shirt & pants. I also don't like wearing plain business clothes so color blocking is my go-to trend. I love this JcPenney dress in that it's professional but still fun. Here are the details on my outfit that I wore to a conference in Florida:

Jacket: Liz Claiborne | Dress: JcPenney | Purse: Coach | Shoes: BCBG Paris | Watch: Michael Kors

Here is a close up shot of my purse and watch! I love them so much because they match virtually any outfit!

Thanks to my friend Jenny Kwong for helping me snap these photos! Hope you enjoyed this post!

OOTD: Urban Edge

Hope everyone is having a great Monday so far!

Over the weekend I got to get my makeup done by Sarah Biggers who is such a talented Atlanta makeup artist! (Click here to see her website.) We collaborated to put together an urban and edgy look. This would be the perfect makeup and outfit to wear to concerts or while exploring the city. Since it is a fairly dark look, this is definitely be more likely to sport at night time.

Photo credit goes to my favorite photographer Diane Lin! (Check out her website here.)

Here are the details on my outfit:

Shawl: Macy's | Tank Top: Forever21 | Shorts: H&M |Combat Boots: Mossimo (Target) | Necklace: Lucky Brand | Foundation: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation | Eyeshadow: Lorac Pro Palette

OOTD: Buku Music Festival 2015 | Day 2

Many of you may have seen my last post about my outfit for Day 1 of the Buku Music Festival (if you haven't, click here). And here is my outfit for day 2! I decided to go for a light blue top because we were at the festival earlier this day so we got a lot of sunshine! I really wanted to wear a flower crown for Buku so I'm glad I found one I loved before leaving for New Orleans! Here are the details from my outfit:

Top: TJ Maxx | Shorts: H&M | Boots: Bakers | Flower Crown: Forever21

For the dots on my face, my friend & I had bought a white eyeliner but I forgot it in the hotel! I ended up using the Maybelline 24 Hour Lip Stain & it worked so well! It lasted all night without coming off.

You will see some flash tattoos in this post and I will be doing a full review on these in the next week!

Here are the artist I recommend from Day 2:
- Passion Pit
- Porter Robinson
- Odesza

If you haven't been to a festival, you seriously should go to one!
