HOW TO: Fix Shattered Makeup!!

Hello everyone! So thought this post was necessary because one day after dropping my bronzer, I realized it was completely shattered. Heartbroken, I remembered that I had seen a video on how to fix shattered makeup a few months ago. Now I wanted to share that with you! Sometimes I will throw away broken makeup but since I spent nearly $30 on this Stila bronzer, I was not about to throw it away. Anywho, here is how I fixed it!

BUKU Music Festival: Part 2: Urban Outfitters Hair Chalk Review!

Hello everyone! This is the part 2 post of my BUKU Music Festival experience! (For part 1, click here.) On day 2, my friend brought out the hair chalk and we put on the color. BUKU Music Festival: Part 1: Experience + Outfits!!

 

We are now in the midst of Spring going into Summer which means it's MUSIC FESTIVAL time!! I went to BUKU Music Festival in New Orleans on March 8-9 & have to say it was one of the best weekends of my life! I had so much fun, danced a ton, & got to see so many great artists perform! There really was an aura of PLUR (Peace, Love Unity, & Respect) at the festival & it was an amazing experience. If you have not been to a music festival,  you should definitely go to at least one! New Forever21 Jewelry Purchases!

Hello everyone! After an insane 4 weeks of school, work, event planning, and no shopping, I decided to treat myself to a little bit of online shopping. :) I only looked at a couple of websites but made a lot of purchases! REVIEW: Stila Sun Bronzing Powder

The Stila Bronzer is a product that I've had for 5 months now. Before I begin the review, take into account that I have a yellow tone to my face and medium skin color. I bought the product in Shade 2. Here are four overviewing points about this product:

2013 Beauty Resolution: Look 4

Like I said in my first 2013 Beauty Resolution post, I really want to push myself this year to create looks that are challenging. So for this look, I liked the way I could really create a defined outline of my crease and make my lids pop.

It was important to use liquid liner for this lid because since something was being placed in the crease, I had to make sure it would stay and not smudge. I thought it would be fun to win out the liner as well. To fill in the lid, I used a silver, glitter eye liner and then put dark blue eyeshadow on the top. This look is sure to last all night!

2013 Beauty Resolution: Look 3 (Ellie Goulding Concert!!)

Last Friday, my best friend Katie and I went to see Ellie Goulding in concert!! It was such a fun night and she is such a good singer live!! She is incredibly talented and not only sang but also played guitar and drums! I would definitely go see her again!

REVIEW: Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Mascara

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to review the Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Mascara because it is unfortunately a product I do not like. 
Here are the claims:

2013 Beauty Resolution: Looks 1 & 2

I hope everyone has been having a fabulous New Year thus far! I decided that I really wanted to challenge myself in the beauty department this year and so I've decided that each week I'm going to come up with a new, bold makeup look. I don't want simple, natural looks but instead looks that are darker, edgier, and harder to create. I think that this will make me more experienced if I ever get to do makeup for runways or fashion shoots (dream job ahhh.) Here are my looks for the first two weeks of 2013!

Week 1: Emerald Moschino Eyes

Emerald is the  upcoming trend for this year so I knew I wanted to create my first look using this color. This is the moschino eyeliner style which is definitely one of my favorites!!

Fabulous Ads: Vogue's Gwen Stefani Cover

For a short time, I was a marketing major and even though I've switched majors since then, I still love well done advertisements. I'm going to try to make a new series of posts where I show you my favorite ads.

I love this particular magazine cover because everything about it fits Gwen Stefani & the New Year! Her glittery/ sequined top just screams New Year to me. I like that they incorporated the piano to represent her music career & her pose is so different that it really catches your eye. I love every piece of her outfit especially the big, black hat. Gwen Stefani is known for being a spunky girl so I'm not surprised they gave her an outfit that really stands out. Everything about her look here is chic, unique, & sophisticated.
