REVIEW: Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum

Is anyone else obsessed with perfumes? Well I definitely am and have found a new favorite! It is Dot by Marc Jacobs. This is an Eau de Parfum and comes in four sizes. I got the 3.4 oz size which retails for $94 but the rollerball is just $24 if you want to test out this scent! In this perfume, there are notes of Red Berries, Dragonfruit, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Coconut Water, Orange Blossom, Vanilla, Driftwood, and Musk. This is such an easy, light perfume to wear in the daytime whether you're going to class or going shopping!

Also, can we talk about this packaging? It is too cute!! I love the butterfly/ theme and the mix of red, black, and gold. All in all a great perfume and I definitely recommend it!

REVIEW: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue + Travalo Tutorial

Hello everyone! I finally purchased a perfume that I have been wanting for a two years now! It is the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette! This is a classic so I would not be surprised if many of you already have this! It has notes of Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, and Musk. I think that if the word "expensive" had a smell, it would smell like this perfume! It is perfect for a day at work or a night out on the town! It lasts for a long time and even though it is a called an "eau de toilette", I think it is just as strong as an "eau de parfum". For prices, the 0.8 oz retails for $50 and the 1.6 oz size retails for $72 at Sephora.

REVIEW: Vera Wang Princess

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to review Vera Wang's Princess Eau de Toilette. I know this perfume has been around for a long time now but it is my favorite! To me, it is the perfect mix of floral and sweet while still being a soft perfume. It is also be perfect for a date! The description of this perfume states that is has "delectable base notes of pink frosting accord, precious amber, forbidden woods, royal musk captive and chiffon vanilla." Doesn't that sound great? The other main notes of this perfume are:

• waterlilly
• lady apple
• mandarin meringue
• golden apricot skin

In terms of pricing, the 1 oz size costs $45 and the 1.7 oz costs $60. I definitely recommend this perfume!

Ralph Lauren Big Pony Women's Collection #2

Hello everyone! Ralph Lauren has recently come out with 4 perfumes for their Big Pony Fragrance Collection for Women. I've been excited for this since knowing they released a Big Pony Fragrance Collection for men.

I went through and smelled all the scents and #2 was my favorite! [which I was hoping for since it's pink! :) ] This scent smells like fruit and seems like a perfect summer scent! I have been looking for a perfume like this for the last few months!

My Birthday Party OOTD and Gifts!

Hey everyone! Today was the greatest day ever!! My birthday is in 4 days and since I will be out of town next weekend, I had an early birthday party! It was soo much fun and I really enjoyed my friend's company. Here is what I got from my friends and my parents. [Special shout out to my friend Jon because I know you read my blog! Thanks for letting me know you read my Scentbug post today! :) ]

Oh! First I will show you what I wore for my party! The dress is from Body Central and I am wearing silver rose earrings from the brand Arizona Jeans which are sold at JcPenney.

The first like 5 presents I opened were Bath & Body Works. I was like "Oh gosh are all of my presents going to be from there?" lol Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love that store so I was psyched to receive these presents! Here is what I got:

REVIEW: Estee Lauder Pleasures Delight

This perfume was my everyday perfume for a good year. My mom gave it to me because she thought it smelt a bit like cologne but I really love it. Estee Lauder describes this perfume as having notes of juicy Pomegranate, whipped Strawberry Meringue and tempting Caramel with a sprinkling of Sugared Rose Petals, dewy Freesia, White Peony and Fresh Greens.

Dupe for Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture!

I personally haven't been able to go out to buy the Viva La Juicy Perfume by Juicy Couture yet but I have smelt several samples of it from magazines. Well a few months ago, I was walking through Publix and was going through the deodorant aisle and decided to try a few of the testers. I picked up the Degree Natureffects Orange Flower and Cranberry Body Mist and thought it smelt nice. Well I didn't end up buying it at that moment but after I left the store and was studying before a football game, the scent really set in and it reminded me of the Juicy Couture perfume! Since I really liked it, I decided to head back to Publix to buy it! It smells very fruity but is quite a strong body mist so I suggest only spraying one spritz. It was only around $4.00 so this was also a great buy!

REVIEW: Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume

I would definitely recommend getting this perfume! It smells so sweet and sugary! I can smell traces of cotton candy and vanilla in this perfume. I was sitting in an assembly one day and the guy sitting next to me told me that I smelled sweet! The 1.7 oz bottle is typically $34.99 however, if you just want to try the perfume, then you can get the .15 oz tester for $9.99!

Fabulous Fact: The Fantasy bottle is famous for featuring real Swarovski crystals embedded into the glass and the plastic collar. In 2008, the collar began being produced without the Swarovski Crystals, and now all of the Fantasy perfumes have switched to a plastic molded collar with no crystals. A reason for the exclusion of the crystals was because the glue of the crystal top would melt in higher temperatures. Many buyers found that after a certain amount of time, the crystal top was able to move and the glue would become very messy.
