Anyone shopping for a last minute gift for a father, brother, or boyfriend? I think cologne would be the perfect gift! My friends and I have talked about it in the past and we all agree that it definitely makes a guy more attractive it he is wearing cologne! I polled 18 guys and got a variety of responses for favorite colognes and fragrances! If you want to read the individual notes or see the costs of each cologne, then just click the name. Here are the results!
The most named cologne of the 18 guys was the
Lacoste Essential Eau de Toilette with 3 votes! (Click
here to see it on Lacoste's site.) This cologne is described as "Masculine, Modern, Classic. Composed of unique fresh and spicy notes,
built on an elegant woody base. Essential combines aromatic and sexy
woods with rich fruit notes, linked with a transparent, floral heart." The lasting power is known to be 6-10 hours. One of my friends said, "Love it. It gets the ladies what can I say." Overall this seems like a great pick!
I was definitely not surprised to hear that a lot of people's favorites were from the Polo Collections. I can definitely see these being a go-to scent.
These next two colognes each got 2 votes! On the left is Armani's Acqua di Gio and on the right is Bleu de Chanel. The Chanel cologne is a favorite of Brandon Bryson's who is a consultant from TLC's Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids.
Other fragrances mentioned were the
Old Spice Deodorant Body Sprays. I'm definitely familiar with this product because both my brothers use it. I also agree that they smell awesome and seem stronger than other deodorant body sprays. I think that every guy should have a can of this in his bookbag or workout bag. A specific scent that was mentioned to me in case anyone needs a specific recommendation is
