How To Tame Frizzy, Curly Hair (Even when it's humid outside!)
It's kind of funny that I'm doing this post because I have completely pin straight hair. However, I was talking to my roommate and she was telling me that one day she had straightened her hair and as soon as she walked outside (we live in an extremely humid region) it instantly got wavy again. Here are three products that I recommended to her based off of multiple good reviews that I have seen for each product. These can all be found at a drugstore for a couple of dollars.
These first few are from Garnier Fructis. I have tried several products from Garnier Fructis and even their products which don't state "Anti-Humidity" do a great job of keeping my hair sleek and frizz-less.

Benefit "Stay Put" Set: $10!!!!
I had been looking at the Benefit "Stay Put" Set for literally over 5 months! It is only supposed to be an online deal so since I had been dying to get it, I just decided that I was going to order it next month. However, I went to Sephora today and was insanely and ecstatically surprised that they carried this in their store! I had literally gone to 3-4 other Sephora stores over the span of 5 months and thought I might as well ask while I was there, but they all told me they didn't have it. So of course I snatched it today and it only cost $10!!!! What a great deal! I will compare the sizes for you, tell you first impressions, and let you know how much a full sized product cost.

Perfect Layering Scent: B&BW's Japanese Cherry Blossom
I never wanted to buy the Bath & Body Works scent Japanese Cherry Blossom because I thought it just smelled like a generic perfumey smell. But I think that was because my nose thought everything in the store smelled the same after like 5 minutes in there. Lol Does that happen to anyone else? Anyways, the other day I saw a bottle of it that someone had put in the bathroom at work and I realized that it smells amazing!
I always heard that the key to making B&BW fragrance mists' scents last longer is to layer them. I always thought that if I tried to do that it would end horribly in some crazy mixture. Lol But now I have discovered that Japanese Cherry Blossom is the perfect layering scent!
It is also lovely on its own! I kinda really want to get the eau de toilette now!
Anyways, if you layer your B&BW fragrance mists, leave me some ideas because I would love to try them!

MAC's Travel Sized Products- Can't go Back2MAC
Hey hey hey!
So I just got off the phone with MAC's customer service because I called to ask if the new Sized-To-Go products were able to go Back2MAC. Unfortunately they are not able to go Back2MAC. If you don't know what that program is, basically if you turn back 6 empty MAC containers or makeup wipe bags, then you get a free lipstick and at some stores a free eyeshadow.
Here is the link to see what products can go Back2MAC.
Here are some helpful things that I learned today about Back2MAC.
1. They accept eyelash cases if you have outside and inside plastic parts.
2. Makeup wipes are also able to go Back2MAC.
3. Holiday collection mini items cannot go Back2MAC.
I think this program is a great way to build up on your collection and recycle at the same time!

Lasting Power Test: E.L.F. Essentials Eyelid Primer VS. MAC Paint Pot
Okay so I decided to test which eyelid primer lasted the longest! The e.l.f. Eyelid Primer only costs $1 whereas the MAC Paint Pot costs $16.50. Big price difference. They both definitely make your eyeshadow last longer. I put swatches of both on my hand, put some pink eyeshadow over the top, and went through my day with it on. I washed my hands, ate, etc. Here are the results:

Clear Skin When You Travel! + Dermatologist Recommendation!
Okay so when I went to China last month, my skin was not very happy. lol I was getting a few breakouts in the beginning of the month and had to go randomly buy an acne cleanser. I ended up getting the Clean & Clear Active Clear Acne Cleanser. I'm not sure if that is available in the US but it was packaged similarly to the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Cleanser. Anyways that product worked wonders for me; cleared my skin and made my pores smaller. But the only bad side of it is that I felt like if I didn't use it consistently then my skin act up again. The product is a little different than other cleansers though; it is more like a gel rather than like a thick cream consistency. It was overall a good product that I would recommend.
When I was in China I was able to talk to a dermatologist and I asked her some questions about controlling acne and her recommendations. Now my skin is not full of breakouts and redness, it is just oily and I occassionally get zits. She suggested to me that in order to prevent acne, it's important to avoid oily and sugary foods. She also said that eating fruits are good for your skin. Lastly, I asked her what brand she would recommend as the best for fighting breakouts and she said Neutrogena! I guess there slogan of "#1 Dermatologist Recommended" really is true.
